I have taught undergraduate seminars or workshops for the following courses at King's College London:

5AAN5001 Neuroscience and the Mind (2023-24, 2024-25)

5AANB053 Philosophy of Physics I (2023-24)
4AANB008 Methodology (2023-24)
I am a co-convenor for 5MBBS201 Philosophy of Medicine in 2025-26, which has involved independently planning the syllabus and delivery of philosophy workshops to medical students.
I was a summative examiner for 4AANB007 and 4AANA102 during the May 2025 exam period.
I was nominated for a 2024 King's Education Award by my students in seminar groups across two courses.
'Charles is one of the most passionate tutorial tutors I have seen. His dedication to help each student understand the concept was unmatched. Especially when he’d explained the concept, students would not feel scared to ask him to explain again as he created a comfortable environment for everyone to participate. He provided the best performance and teaching even though he’d repeated the same tutorial at least five times that day.'
'I struggled greatly with the abstractness of philosophy as a science major and easily lost interest. Charles was my seminar leader and helped encourage me to find my passion with philosophy. He supported me through thought processes to draw my own conclusions. In all my time at King's I have never felt so much support and passion from any other staff.'
'Charlie really helped me to understand the concepts of what we would learn before the lecture, which further helped me to learn from the professor's lecture. He was extremely open to any questions and was always willing to help the students in his office hours, which was used and visited by a lot of students.'
'Due to my disability I have required additional support, he has facilitated this throughout, during office hours.'
'Charlie is very enthusiastic about epistemology and it reflects in the way he leads the seminar. He encourages helpful questions, both during the seminars and office hours, and really puts an effort into getting the information across. One of the most approachable leaders I've had so far.'
'Genuinely, you're the best seminar leader I've ever had. You're incredibly good at making the topics understandable, without simplifying them to the point where there's no room for discussion or own thought. My favourite aspect of your seminars is your writing on the board. It's always incredibly clear, well presented, and very useful.'
